The Fruit of the Spirit
God’s Spirit is poured into our hearts, and the fruit is what shines through in our everyday actions!
In Fruit of the Spirit: For Kids (Faith in Action), author Zakiyyah Cordell and illustrator Nadia Ronquillo bring the timeless lesson of Galatians 5 to life in a way young children can truly understand and practice. Moving beyond the traditional metaphors of apples, oranges, and melon slices, this heartwarming picture book follows a diverse group of preschoolers known as the Young Explorers through a typical day filled with play, friendship, and learning.
Through simple, accessible language and warm, inviting illustrations, children see exactly how spiritual virtues look in real life. Alongside the Young Explorers, little readers discover how to practice love by sharing their favorite toys, show goodness by helping clean up, experience pure joy on the playground slide, and treat others with patience and kindness.
Part of the Faith in Action series, Fruit of the Spirit: For Kids demonstrates the transformative power of faith starting at an early age. It is a wonderful read-aloud resource for Christian families, Sunday school teachers, and preschool classrooms looking to nurture character, empathy, and loving actions in young hearts.
